Two Times Silver Tina Maze Arrives Home

Jože Pučnik Intl. Airport, 28th February, 2010 – Slovenia’s best alpine skier Tina Maze returned from the 21st Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada, where she won two silver medals. She held a press conference at the airport and greeted a large crowd of fans outside. The twice silver Tina Maze and team leader, coach and partner Andrea Massi met with the press right after touching down at Ljubljana’s international airport. After watching videos of her olympic achievements, Tina admited of having a lot of reserves that she will use to for progress. Miro Cerar, Slovenia’s most successful athlete of all times, a gymnast, an olympic medal winner and a representative of the Executive Board of the Olympic Committee of Slovenia, awarded her with a commemorative plaque for each medal. After the press conference, she met with her family and greeted the fans outside the terminal.
